Every Mason has his own story about what first drew him to the Craft. For some, it was the influence of a family member or friend; for others, curiosity, fellowship, a desire for personal growth, or the search for something more meaningful. Whatever has brought you to our door, we would be interested in hearing your story and getting to know you.

Freemasonry is founded upon the timeless principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. At its heart, it brings good men together in friendship and encourages each of us to become better men, within our families, our communities, and ourselves.

At Kerr Lodge No. 230, we value fellowship, mentorship, Masonic education, meaningful ritual, service to others, and, above all, the friendships and bonds that develop between Brethren. We are proud of our history and traditions, but we also recognize that the future of our Lodge rests with the men who will carry those values forward.

Becoming a Freemason is not a decision that should be rushed. In fact, I believe the best way to discover Freemasonry is simply to spend some time with Masons.

Come and meet us, join us for a coffee, a meal, or one of our social gatherings. Meet the Brethren, ask questions, share a few laughs, and experience the fellowship of our Lodge for yourself. We want you to have the opportunity to get to know us just as much as we would like the opportunity to get to know you.

There is no obligation and no pressure. Freemasonry is a journey that a man must choose for himself, and we encourage you to take the time to determine whether the Craft and Kerr Lodge in particular is a place where you can find friendship, purpose, and an opportunity to grow.

When We Meet

Kerr Lodge No. 230 G.R.C. meets on the third Thursday of each month from September through June. Meetings commence at 7:30 p.m. sharp. We are located at 99 Morrow Rd., Barrie, Ontario.

Who Can Join?

Membership is open to men who:

• Are 21 years of age or older

• Are of good character and reputation

• Believe in the existence of a Supreme Being

• Have lived in Ontario for at least 12 months

These are the basics, but equally important is feeling a genuine connection to the spirit of our fraternity.

Costs and Commitment

Freemasonry is a not-for-profit organization supported by its members. If you have questions, our Worshipful Master or Secretary will be happy to guide you.
